ISO Settings Guide for Available Light
Jeff
Galbraith writes, "ISO, as it relates to digital photography, is
an indicator of how sensitive to light your camera’s sensor is,
and most digital cameras allow you to adjust this sensitivity.
The majority of low to mid-range digital cameras have an ISO
range that goes from somewhere in the neighborhood of 50 or 100
up to around 400 to 800. The lower the ISO number, the more
light that is necessary to get proper exposure."

Photography Ideas for Better Results
Barbara
Saunders writes, "Now onto the fun stuff! Ever since you were a
little kid, you knew that it was the pictures that draw you into
the story. It's the same with newsletters. Research shows that
people scan when they read. They look at the photos and their
captions the very first thing, then read the headlines.
Powerful, engaging photos are essential for getting your content
read. And just a layout tip: One larger, good quality photo has
much more impact than a bunch of smaller images. Here are some
more tips:"

Photographic Art Expressions and Development
Aaron
Guldberg writes, "So, where do you start in this endeavor to
shape a unique artistic identity? Slow down and I don’t mean
just when you have a camera in your hands. Take more time to
think thru what impact the subject has on you and subsequently
how you want to communicate your perspective or interpretation
of that subject. Get outside of your comfort zone and try new
approaches and strive for perfect execution of the photographic
process."

Shutter Speed Effects in Photography
Jeff
Galbraith writes, "Shutter speed is perhaps the most creative
adjustment available to the digital photographer. It allows us
to freeze action or use motion blur to create a variety of
effects, and is expressed in seconds or fractions of seconds
depending on the length of exposure. A high shutter speed
(1/1000 of a second or higher) can freeze even very fast moving
objects dead in their tracks. However, you will need to keep a
couple of things in mind:"
