Winner of the July Photo Contest
This
is the winner of the July photo contest on the
photography social network. It was taken by
Keith Willette with a Nikon D80. There were so many
great photo entries that we decided to narrow the them down
to four instead of three. We are now starting the August photo
contest, the category is Macro Photography. All of the entries
will be judged and narrowed down to three in the last couple
days of the month for final voting which is available to any
member. If you would like to participate, please join the
Monthly Photo Contest Group.

Sony Announces the DSC-T700 with 4GB of Storage
The
Sony DSC-T700 is a 10 megapixel digital camera with a Carl Zeiss
Vario-Tessar 4x optical zoom lens. It is designed to be a photo
album in your pocket. The DSC-T700 has all the features of the
DSC-T77 plus 4GB of internal memory and a 3.5” LCD screen. It is
an extremely thin camera at less than 5/8 of an inch wide at the
thinnest. The DSC-T700 can be bought in late September 2008 in
red, champagne gold, pink, dark gray and silver for about $400.

Sony Announces the
Intelligent DSC-T77
The
Sony DSC-T77 is a 10 megapixel digital camera with a Carl Zeiss
Vario-Tessar 4x optical zoom lens. It is designed to be an
intelligent camera with easy functions to make photos easy. The
DSC-T77 features intelligent scene recognition technology, smile
shutter, face detection, 11 scene modes, and a 3.0” LCD. It is
an extremely thin camera at less than 5/8 of an inch wide. The
DSC-T77 camera replaces the former T70 model and will be
available in brown, green, pink, black and silver in late
September for about $300.

Nikon Coolpix S60 is a 10 megapixel point-and-shoot digital
camera with a 5x optical zoom-Nikkor lens. It is designed to be
stylish and intuitive with a huge 3.5” touch-screen LCD. The
Coolpix S60 also features optical image stabilization, auto
scene selection, smile mode, blink warning, a new portrait
one-touch zoom function, and ISO speeds up to 3200. It will be
available in September for $349.

Zoom-Nikkor lens. It is designed for consumers looking for an
eye-catching design and easy-to-use capabilities. The Coolpix

sort mode, favorite picture playback mode, face priority AF,
smile mode, blink warning, in camera red-eye fix, and
D-lighting. It will be available starting in September 2008 for
about $249.
