Sony Announces the Alpha DSLR-A200
The
Sony Alpha DSLR-A200 is a 10.2-megapixel digital SLR camera
designed to be faster, lighter and easier to use then the
previous A100 model. The A200 features a 2.7-inch LCD screen, a
more compact body, improved noise control, faster auto focus
speed, a battery life indicator, Super SteadyShot image
stabilization, and the BIONZ image processing engine. The
DSLR-A200K kit includes the camera body and a DT 18-70mm
f3.5-5.6 3.9x zoom lens for about $700.

Announces the DCR-HC62 Mini DV Camcorder
The
Sony Handycam DCR-HC62 is a Mini DV Tape camcorder with a
1-megapixel CCD imager and 25x optical zoom. It is designed for
families who are either looking to buy their first camcorder or
are currently using a mini DV camcorder and enjoy video editing
with tape. The HC62 features an on-screen usage guide, a color
viewfinder, and Super SteadyShot image stabilization. It will be
available in February 2008 for about $300.

Casio Announces the World's Fastest Camera
The
Casio Exilim Pro EX-F1 is a 6-megapixel digital camera with 12x
optical zoom. It is designed for speed and can take an
incredible 60 frames per second (fps) burst rate for still
images, together with 1,200 fps high speed movie recording that
captures movement faster than the eye can see for ultra-slow
motion replay. The EX-F1 features movie recording in full
High-Definition, shutter speed up to 1/4000 second, face
detection, and Best Shot scene modes. It will be available in
March for about $1,000.

point-and-shoot camera with 3x optical zoom. It was designed to
be the world's smallest and thinnest stylish 10.1 megapixel
camera. The EX-S10 features a 1/2.3 inch CCD sensor, a 2.7-inch
LCD, new motion blur detection technology, and H.264 format
video recording. It will be available in February 2008 for about
$250.
