Panasonic Announces the
FZ28 for Action Shots
The
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28 is a mid-size 10.1 megapixel camera
with Leica DC Vario-Elmarit 18x optical zoom lens. It is
designed for photographers at any level who want intuitive
functionality and the ability to capture motion with clarity.
The Lumix DMC-FZ28 features intelligent auto mode, a new AF
tracking function, face detection, optical image stabilization,
the Venus Engine IV processor, and HD video capabilities. It
will be available in silver and black in August for about $399.

Samsung Announces the S1070 in Europe
The
Samsung S1070 is a 10.2 megapixel point-and-shoot digital camera
with 3x optical zoom. It is designed for users who are looking
for a simple camera with high resolution and a low price. The
S1070 features face detection, a 2.7” LCD screen, digital image
stabilization, ISO speeds up to 1600, 10 scene modes, red-eye
fix, a self portrait mode, a photo help guide for beginners, and
a movie mode. It will be available starting in September 2008
for about £99.

Stylish, Feature-Rich FX150
The
Panasonic Lumix FX150 is a 14.7 megapixel point-and-shoot
digital camera with a 28mm wide-angle lens with 3.6x optical
zoom. It is designed to be stylish and rich in features. The
Lumix FX150 has a manual exposure mode, intelligent exposure,
optical image stabilization, intelligent ISO, intelligent scene
selection, 24 scene modes, image leveling, quick auto focus, and
face detection (up to 15 faces). The FX150 comes in silver and
black colors and will be available in August for about $399.

Ultra Wide-Angle FX37
The
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX37 is a 10.1 megapixel point-and-shoot
digital camera with a 25mm ultra wide-angle LEICA DC 5x optical
zoom lens. It is designed for photographers who would like to
capture more viewing space than normal point-and-shoot cameras
offer. The Lumix DMC-FX37 features HD video recording,
intelligent auto mode, optical image stabilization, intelligent
scene selection, face detection, quick AF, and image leveling.
It will be available in four body colors (silver, black, blue,
pink, white) starting in September 2008 for about $349.

Focusing on the Eyes in Wildlife Photography

photographing a landscape or an inanimate object. Your wildlife
subject has eyes, and our natural tendency as humans is to make
