JVC Announces the Everio GZ-HD30
The JVC Everio GZ-HD30 is a full HD camcorder that can
record in two formats to an 80GB internal hard disk drive. It
will be available in August for $999.

Announces the Low-Budget GZ-HD10
The
JVC Everio GZ-HD10 offers 1440 x 1080 recording in the AVCHD
format to a 40GB hard drive. It is designed for budget-conscious
users who want a high quality lens and an internal hard disk
drive. The GZ-HD10 features a Konical Minolta HD lens, focus
assist, manual settings, 10x optical zoom, and a 1.84 megapixel
1/4.5" image sensor. It will be available in August for $799.

Panasonic Announces a Camcorder with 3MOS
The
Panasonic HDC-HS100 is one of the world's first AVCHD camcorders
with a 3MOS system. The three MOS sensors process the red,
green, and blue components of incoming light separately, so
color reproduction is superb. The HDC-HS100 is a hybrid that
records to both a 60GB internal hard drive and SD memory cards.
It also has optical image stabilization, 12x optical zoom, and
face detection. It will be available in September.

Panasonic Announces
a Flash Camcorder with 3MOS
The Panasonic HDC-SD100 is an AVCHD format camcorder with
a 3MOS system that records to SD and SDHC memory cards. It is a
lot like the HDC-HS100 but lacks the internal hard disk. The
HDC-SD100 will be available starting in September of this year
for about $1,099.
