Night Landscape Wallpaper from Ulm, Germany
This
digital wallpaper is from the city of Ulm in Germany. A tripod
was used, the exposure was 8 seconds long with an aperture of
F/5.6. It was taken on 7/1/2006. It is available in screen
resolution sizes of 800 x 600, 1024 x 768, 1280 x 1024, and 1600

Sharp Night Photography Without a Tripod

platform to take a digital photo. In some scenarios not using a
tripod will result in a blurry digital photo with its objects
either blurred or simply out of focus. However there are times
when you will find yourself in a situation that a tripod is
needed but you do not have one with you to use. Here are some
alternatives to using a tripod when one is not available. Like
film cameras digital cameras are also sensitive to movements and
shakings while shooting a photo. If the digital camera moves
while the shutter is open the result will be a soft or blurry
photo."

Konica Minolta OLED Development

On June 30, 2006, Konica Minolta announced that it had
successfully developed a white OLED with a power efficiency of
64 lumens per watt, which is four times the efficiency of
standard incandescent bulbs. For this development, Universal
Display's red and green PHOLED technology and materials have
been used in conjunction with Konica Minolta's proprietary OLED
technologies, such as its own blue phosphorescent materials and
multi-layer design technologies.
