Lake Success, N.Y., August 11, 2008 – Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging, has today introduced two new multifunction models, the PIXMA MP480 and PIXMA MP190 Photo All-In-One (AIO) printers, designed for simple operation and maximum performance, while also providing new automatic features for enhanced scanning, copying and photo printing. These two Canon models are ideal for any print locale, from homes and businesses to college campuses.

Canon Pixma MP190 Photo All-In-One Printer
Aimed at the more economically minded consumer, the Canon Pixma MP190 Photo All-In-One features a maximum of 4800 x 1200 dpi color resolution, and a minimum two-picoliter droplet size to deliver outstanding photo quality. Text printing speeds are up to 19 ppm for black and up to 15 ppm for color, providing users with high speed to go along with high quality. The printer also delivers 4 x 6 inch borderless photo quality prints in approximately 70-seconds. Additional features include the Advanced Z-Lid expansion top allowing users to place bulkier books or small 3-D objects for scanning on the platen glass and holds them down for a more clear copy or scan. The estimated selling price for the Canon MP190 Photo All-In-One is $69.

Canon's New Photo Album 3"x 3" Pocket Size
Perfect for showing off pictures of the family, the wallet-sized photo has been transformed with the new Photo Album 3"x 3" Pocket Size. The ultimate stocking stuffer or personalized party favor, the small pocket-sized album holds 12 different photos, as well as a custom wraparound photo hardcover. Canon Fine Technology and ChromaLife100+ System
The PIXMA MP480 and MP190 Photo All-In-One printers utilize Canon's two-cartridge, four-color FINE (Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering) technology with a minimum two-picoliter droplet size and up to 4800 x 1200 dpi color resolution.4 While the PIXMA MP190 Photo All-In-One supports Canon's ChromaLife 100 system, the new PIXMA MP480 Photo All-In-One supports the new ChromaLife 100+ dye ink, when used with genuine Canon Photo Paper Plus Glossy II (PP-201) and FINE print technology to produce beautiful long-lasting lab-quality prints with enhanced fade resistance for up to 300 years when stored in an archival-quality photo album.
