Setting someone on fire may seem a little extreme just to get a photograph, but that’s what photographer Benjamin Von Wong does in this video:
Unconventionally, Benjamin put a post on Facebook asking if anyone wanted to be set on fire. Up stepped his friend, Jo Gorsky, and from there they put together a small team to carry out the shoot including a circus fire breather and a professional stunt man. With a specific idea in mind and battling the elements, they set out their lighting in a large field in the early evening.
With the fading light giving a dark and interesting sky and using wirelessly controlled flash units, the final images are both highly creative and original.
These guys took it a little far, but there are many interesting photo effects that can be produced without endangering health or property.
