Timelapse of Earth Made From NASA’s ISS Photos

Tomislav Safundžić put together a visually stunning timelapse from a rather unusual point of view–space. The images, which Safundžić credits to the Image Science & Analysis Laboratory at NASA’s Johnson Space Center, take viewers on an out of this world journey through space revealing what the sunrise, sunset, and Aurora Borealis looks like as the shuttle orbits around planet earth. Even at a fast-paced 2-minute trip around the world, the timelapse delivers stunning images that are perfectly complimented by the instrumental track titled Intro by The XX. Safundžić doesn’t reveal how long it took him to edit the timelapse together, but it’s safe to say a project of this magnitude took quite a bit of effort.
