- Mass produced fluorite, a material which lenses are made from.
- Developed spherical lenses
- Created an ultrasonic motor
- Revolutionized optical image stabilization
- Created Digic Image Sensor technology, which led to Canon cameras becoming the first to be able to capture high definition video

It’s fascinating to see how our cameras are even made! More companies should do the same.
We would all like a hassy or phase one, but most of uus don’t need that class of image. It’s all right if your company buys the stuff, but the most that i enlarge to is a3, and my micro 4/3rds Panasonic does that to superb quality in most situations.
A phase one might do better, but not that much unless you need infinite detail; I don’t.
Not even close to the quality of Phase One or Hassy or other products.
