If you’re lucky enough to ever camp out in Yosemite National Park, you’re no doubt going to see some incredible scenery—from the spanning valley and massive rock formations to amazingly clear starry nights. If you stay up late, you can even catch those beautiful features together. That’s what photographer w8keslayer did while visiting the park’s popular Camp 4. Here’s a stunning shot of the valley against the night sky as the fog rolls in:

To create this image, the photographer took three vertical shots that were stitched together in post production and cropped.

he says “if you stay up late” so I’m assuming it was shot midnight or later … note the stars … maybe … ? Beautiful photographic art!!!
Any idea why this picture has been taken with ISO1600 and not with ISO 100 and a 4 minute exposure instead? It could give unnecessary noise…
