We all know the difference that photographic perspective can give–how it can change the experience of the viewer. But how often do we think about how this is used in politics? Take, for example, this set of images called the “Illusion of Politics”:
These photos, taken from a rally for British Parliament member George Osborne, each show a very different reality based upon the perspective of the photographer. Which one you end up seeing really depends on whether the media sources you view are for or against the candidate in question. It just goes to show, in this era of highly charged and sometimes crazy politics, it can be helpful to get a little perspective.
