Lofoten is an archipelago in Norway best known for its beautiful scenery, majestic mountain peaks, beaches, and untouched land. The beauty of the area has drawn artists for several decades. This fact is evident in many art galleries and photo exhibitions. Photographer Francesco Gola is no exception, as he too was inspired to take this beautiful image:

Gola’s composition, with the snowy beach as the foreground, the ocean in the center, and the winter mountains and gloomy sky as the backdrop, shows off the calm winter layers of the Lofoten Islands.
