Casio unveiled TRYX, a revolutionary new camera that will allow consumers to stand out and be noticed. Strikingly different than any other camera on the market today, TRYX impresses with a distinctive, variable frame design which knows no bounds. With TRYX, consumers can do more and be prepared to capture their photographic lives in ways they were never able to before. Sony today unveiled two new 16.2-megapixel Cyber-shot digital still cameras that offer Full HD video shooting capability at the touch of a dedicated movie button. Recording video at 60 progressive frames per second (1920×1080 60p), both cameras can capture fast-moving action with exceptional smoothness and clarity.

Casio added even more depth to its popular EXILIM family of digital cameras with the announcement of the 16.1 megapixel EX-H30. With an impressive 24mm, ultra-wide-angle, 12.5x optical zoom lens as well as the ability to capture up to 1,000 photos on a single battery charge (in accordance with Camera & Imaging Products Association standards), the new EX‑H30 offers the versatility that today’s travelers are looking for in a compact digital camera.

The Panasonic LUMIX ZS10 also features the new Panasonic 3D Photo mode, which produces a realistic 3D photo by taking 20 consecutive photos and overlaying the two best images which provide a 3D image that can then be played on a Panasonic VIERA 3D HDTV. The format of the 3D image is compatible with MPO, and can also be played back on other MPO-compatible equipment such as a televisions, digital photo frame and printers. Panasonic also adds the LUMIX Image Uploader for seamless and instant sharing via Facebook (for digital photos) or YouTube (for videos).

Fujifilm North America announced two additions to the FinePix F-Series lineup: the FinePix F500EXR and the FinePix F550EXR. They are sleek, compact digital cameras combining intuitive use with advanced features, including a new 16 MegaPixel EXR-CMOS sensor, FUJINON 15x super Wide-Angle lens (24-360mm equivalent) and 3.0” high contrast 460K resolution LCD, with 160° viewing. Features also include high speed shooting capabilities, full HD movie capture at 1080p, and the F550EXR also has new GPS Geo-Tagging.

Sony today announced new models in its W, H and T-series Cyber-shot lines including models DSC-W510, DSC-W530, DSC-W560 and DSC-W570–some of its most affordable, full-featured point-and-shoot cameras to date. The all new W-series models feature Sweep Panorama mode, plus a variety of Sony innovations.

Panasonic today introduces the LUMIX DMC-TS3, specifically designed for active users who want to capture high-quality photos and 1920 x 1080 full-High Definition videos, incorporating a powerful rugged design and new outdoor-friendly features, such as a built-in GPS function, a compass, altimeter and barometer. The new 12.1-megapixel LUMIX TS3 further strengthens its toughness, when compared to its LUMIX TS2 predecessor, and is now waterproof to approximately 40 feet (12m); shockproof to approximately 6.6 feet (2m); freezeproof to 14ºF (-10 degrees C); and dustproof.

For the first time, three of the PowerShot A-series cameras will have 720p HD video, advanced Smart AUTO including Subject Detection, and Creative Filters including Toy Camera and Monochrome mode, providing an increase in overall convenience and efficiency. Whether at a concert or taking a bike ride with the family, the Canon PowerShot A3300 IS, A2200 and A1200 cameras now have 32 predefined shooting situations in its advanced Smart AUTO feature, with the new addition of Subject Detection, where a specific object is the main focal point of the image.

Casio announced the stylish and compact EX-ZS10 and EX-ZS5, two new models which join the company’s growing EXILIM family of digital cameras. Competitively priced at $119.99 and $99.99 respectively, the new EX-ZS10 and EX-ZS5 offer a number of high-performance features which are typically not found in entry-level compact digital cameras, including 14.1 megapixel resolution and 26mm wide-angle lenses with generous 5x optical zooms. What’s more is that with the EX-ZS10, users can record their memories in high‑definition as the camera offers 720p HD video. The EX-ZS5 features VGA video recording at a resolution of 640×480.
