When shooting an animal themed photoshoot at Ray of Light Farm, photographer Adrien Broom called on a PocketWizard MiniTT1 paired with the PocketWizard AC3 ZoneController to provide her the flexibility of controlling her multi-flash setup directly from her camera. This video is obviously produced by PocketWizard, but besides the gear used, it is interesting to observe the setup and process taken to capture these unique photos. The photoshoot can be seen here:
Here is one example from the shoot involving a bunch of live turtles and a rabbit with the model and backdrop scene:
The AC3 Zone Controller gave Broom the ability to adjust the zone levels up to six stops and turn her Elinchrome Digital 2400 and Einstein E640 on and off without ever having to touch the speedlights beyond initial setup.
