In the video below, viewers are treated to a behind the scenes look at a lacrosse photo shoot. Like many behind the scene videos, this one doesn’t stop at after the photographs have been captured. Also included in the short film is the entire editing workflow in Lightroom and Photoshop. It’s pretty interesting for those of you who are curious about the editing techniques of different photographers, something that is not often shared with the public:
The photographer’s setup included a pair of softboxes, three SB600s, and an SB700. The SB700 powered the softbox nearest to the lacrosse player. The second softbox held a SB600, while the remaining two were set up on stands around the scene. They arrived to their location early enough to set everything up and take a few test shots, ensuring that they didn’t miss out on any prime shooting time during golden hour.
