There is no arguing that the iPhone has become an extremely convenient and powerful tool for photographers. And now with the new iPhone 5 upon us with even more processing power, this medium of photography is not going away anytime soon. I have to admit that I take more photos on my iPhone now than my Canon DSLR simply because I have my phone with me all the time.

This eBook was released recently to great reviews. The iPhone’s camera is pretty decent, but what makes this device so powerful (and complicated) are all the professional grade photo apps that are now available. I like how the author covers these in great detail.

This book is structured into three chapters: Shoot, Edit, and Share. Each chapter starts with an overview of the subject, introducing the key apps, processes, and tools. The author then demonstrates his preferred way of shooting via practical examples.

I was also slow to embrace the iPhone as a valuable device for photography. What changed my mind was the Camera+ app which this book also covers, I love it and use it every time I see a picturesque moment on an average day.
