An archipelago in Norway, Lofoten is best known for its beautiful scenery, majestic mountain peaks, beaches, and untouched land. The beauty of the area has drawn artists for several decades. This fact is evident in many art galleries and photo exhibitions. This photograph by Joe Clarke is sufficient to give us a glimpse of why the area is so popular:
Clarke took the image with his Canon 5D Mark III and lens at 70mm, f/5.6, and ISO 200.
The clouds are definitely the highlights of this image. The drama with which they beautifully wrap around the mountains is exaggerated by their rich colors. Also, the clear, calm water of the lake in the foreground further adds to the beauty of this image.
