As though action sequence shots weren’t difficult enough, Marcel Lämmerhirt really tested himself when he partook in a wakeboarding photo shoot which was shot entirely during the dark night hours. Using the new Profoto Pro-B4s to power his Pro B Head Plus lamps, Lämmerhirt explains that the speed and control the Pro-B4s offered enabled him to take the night action sequences with a lot less effort than he expected. As you saw in the video, Lämmerhirt lit each of the action frames separately, enabling him to select his favorite shots to use in the final composite image.
