If you thought the thumbnail for today’s photo had an unmistakable Blade Runner vibe, you wouldn’t be the first one to think so. This image by Albert Dros is both creepy and ethereal at the same time:
Dros shot this image with a Sony a7R III paired with a 100–400 lens zoomed out all the way to 100mm. His settings were f/7.1 and 1/1000 second. He deliberately underexposed the image to ensure a maximum dynamic range then pushed back the exposure in post to retain the original highlights.
Regardless of the technical details, this is one image that is bound to freeze you for a moment or two.
