An unlucky fish was caught on a hook—and on camera. Canadian Photographer Jeremy Koreski captured this fish using the over-under technique, giving the viewer a glimpse of the surface and underwater at the same time. This has to be done with a camera protected by an underwater housing.
Koreski grew up near the ocean in Tofino, BC, Vancouver Island’s western-most city. His photography features a lot of water, including surfing and the culture of the Canadian coast. Fly fishing is a popular sport throughout Canada and as you see here, it can be excellent inspiration for photography.
