On his drive to work the other day, Phil Mosby saw something that forced him to stop and pull over. Mosby is primarily a night-sky photographer, but the look of the Nevada sun breaking through the clouds near Reno was too much for him to pass up:
We don’t know with what gear he grabbed this particular shot, but he normally uses a Nikon D600 with a Tamron 24–70mm lens. The lens width would be useful for someone surrounded by such gorgeous landscapes.
