Photographer DieterMeyrl shot this image on a wildlife photography expedition. This inquisitive Eurasian kingfisher decided to spice things up by flying in and sitting on the camera as if to have a closer look at the human.

This image will surely elicit a wave of funny punchlines for sure, but it’s certainly one of those rare instances when wildlife decides to sit in the human’s chair for a change. Howdy!

Really nice bit of Photoshop. The kingfisher is a very timid bird and may, possibly, have landed on the camera but the actions of the ‘photographer’ would surely have frightened it off.

I’m having trouble believing that the same bird posed on two different lenses and perched that close to a human. Great prop!
