Iceland attracts photographers from all around the world, all seeking to photograph the beauty that seems to be everywhere you look in the country. From its Northern Lights to its sweeping landscapes, there’s no questioning the photogenic nature of Iceland. But, if you still need a little persuasion, take a look at this image captured by Dutch photographer Andreas Hattinger:
According to Hattinger:
“Grjotagja is a small lava cave near lake Myvatn with a thermal spring inside. Until the 1970s Grjotagja was a popular bathing site. But during the eruptions from 1975 to 1984 the temperature of the water increased to more than 50°C.”
