Friday’s World Cup match between Germany and France made for a sea of sullen faces in Paris. But at a public viewing, amidst the crowd of quiet, worried French fans, one ecstatic German fan waved her flag proudly and celebrated the match that would guarantee her team a place in the semi-finals:
