It’s not often you see an unusual angle of a natural landmark, but here’s a pretty lovely one: the backside of Yosemite National Park’s famous Half Dome mountain:
The image was snapped by Oxus007 with a simple Nikon D7100. As he wrote in the comments of his popular Reddit post:
“I used an 18-140mm kit lens for this, so nothing special or overly expensive. You absolutely could take the same picture.”
The image’s popularity has soared on the social media site, drawing comparisons to sad monkeys and sadder basset hounds:
