Around sunset, the sky puts on an amazing show and the surroundings look beautiful thanks to the soft light. Mix that up with a brilliant eye for composition, and you have the perfect ingredients for a spectacular image. Photographer Jeremy Noyes seems to have used this formula to capture this beautiful image of the tide pools at La Jolla in San Diego:
Noyes took the image using his Sony A7RIII with the Canon 16-35mm 2.8L II lens, using the Sigma MC11 adapter. As he shot the image using a wider focal length, the elements close to the lens appear exaggerated, making the edges of the tide pool seem like veins.
The evening light, coloring up the clouds has added a dramatic factor to the entire image, which otherwise looks calm and peaceful. Furthermore, the reflection of the colorful sky on the tide pools has added greater appeal to the already interesting foreground.
