One of the great things about photography is that it sometimes has the ability to take something commonly seen as boring and turn into subject matter that both excites and engages our minds. Such is the case in the following timelapse video by Muhammad Suhada, an Indonesian photographer with a flair for cityscapes and stunning skylines. Take a look at his A Brand New Day right here:
Suhada, who says, “I made photography my hobby since late 2010,” has produced a timelapse worthy of praise and which shows just how talented the hobbyist is. In making the film, Suhada called on his Canon EOS 6D which he outfitted with either a Canon EF 17-40mm f4.0, Canon EF 50mm f1.8, or Vivitar 135mm f2.8.
Timelapse videos are made by taking thousands, usually tens of thousands of still photos and editing them into a sequence during post productions. Suhada employed a few other techniques such as camera pans and hyperlapse video (timelapse video taken while moving), both of which only contributed to the gorgeous photography making this timelapse a standout in its class.
