Photo manipulations are illusions created by heavy photo editing techniques. It is an art where ordinary photos are transformed into something alluring, and totally out of the box. Erik Johansson was invited to do a TED Talk on this subject recently. There are subtle photo manipulations and there are those that depict a far-fetched illusion executed in a realistic way.
